Welcome to Week 6 of the Feminine Leadership Series.
This week we are focusing on the third step in our Collaborative Practices Series, Being Clear. Being clear involves clarity on two thing: ‘What is / What it’s like now’ and ‘What you want to create in the future.’
5 Collaborative Practices: Natural Laws of Leadership

Leadership Series Resources
Watch the video below to dive into our distinctions around Being Clear. In that video we explore the 3 key ingredients necessary to create a clear and compelling vision. These videos are from our annual mastermind the Level 7 Leadership Group.
This Week’s Challenge
Describe the vision you have for your business including 1) What it’s like now and 2) What you are wanting to create in the future.
The Present: What It’s Like Now
Ask yourself if you are clear about what is? You know you’re clear if you can easily answer the following questions:
- How aligned are you with respect to your current vision / purpose (Scale 1-10)?
- Can the 10 people closest to you articulate your vision / purpose (include friends, family, and co-workers)?
- What are the key metrics you are currently measuring to measure your success? What are the actual numbers for each of those metrics?
- How effective are each of your marketing strategies you are using? How much time and revenue are they each bringing in?
- How big is your current client base? What are your current sales conversion ratio on each of your sales channels?
- How scalable is your current model in terms of revenue, customer list size, and impact?
- How well are you managing referrals?
The Future: What vision are you creating?
Now create a real and vivid description of your vision of the future for your business. Identify the game you are playing. To get clear on your future vision, see how easily you can answer the following questions:
- What is the cultural shift you are looking to create with your products and services? Quantify that shift with things like the number of people you will impact and the number of years it will take to accomplish it.
- How will your products and services specifically create that shift?
- How are you measuring success? What key metrics or indicators are you using?
- How often are you measuring those metrics and what specific numbers equal success?
- What key values is your business focusing on (pick 1 or 2)? What are you willing to give up to reach your desired outcome?
- How many customers / clients do you need to reach your financial goal?
- How many leads do you need to reach the number of customers/list that will have you reach your goal?
- Are you playing a winable game….Is there enough time, money, and resources in your current model which will lead to you being able to reach your goals?
